| Message | I have never EVER heard of this before. But today I sold a pair of expensive sunglasses, and the buyer paid right away. I head to my paypal account and, lo and behold the funds are not yet available. Strange, I dig deeper, and what I've uncovered has put me well over the edge with ebay/paypal policies. Now with ebay, if you have not received 25 detailed seller feedback ratings in all 4 related feedback categories, paypal will put a hold on your funds until you upload tracking info and they verify the item has shipped and been delivered. They release funds into your availability 3 days after verification of product receipt. I called and talked to several reps, and according to one this policy was implemented last year and basically I have no option but to refund the buyer's payment or do as they demand. I told them, there's no way I am ever releasing an item I've sold until I verify funds in my bank, and I'll never work any differently. And also, the buyer has nothing to do with this hold, as far as the buyer is concerned their funds are released and all is well in the world. I'm fuming.
